Welcome to the Oige Keane Memorial Wiki, a collaborative project to produce a biographical scrapbook about Oige's life. The Oige wiki is a website that allows friends and family to compile and share memories about Og. Hopefully, by contributing to or just browsing the site, we can reflect on our time with Oige and remember his passion.
At the moment, everyone is welcome to view all parts of the site. To edit a page, or upload a file, you will need to take about 15 seconds and register for an account (all you need to provide is a username and a password, nothing else). Please use your real name for your username if possible, so we can keep track of who said what (but an alias is fine if you insist). Eventually, we might allow anonymous edits without registration but for now this is disabled to avoid spam. Also note, the site may be slow, especially for editing, because it is hosted on a shared server; your patience is appreciated.
Oigepedia is a wiki, which means that you can edit it, and all the content is licensed under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License. Dark blue links point to articles on this site, light blue links point to other websites or wikis, and red links point to pages on this site that have not been created yet. Before you contribute, you may wish to read through some of our Help pages. Learn how to start a page, how to edit entries, or visit our how to help list to see how you can participate in the development of the Memorial Wiki. Thanks for your interest and support. Dia linn go deo.

Who was Oige?  the man, the myth, the legend
Oigekeane-merit-program.jpg
Oige Keane (March 25, 1992 – July 22, 2009) was an Irish-American musician and songwriter. Oige lived his entire life in the Santa Ynez Valley in California. He played the viola and he had been planning on pursuing a career as a concert violist. He was entering his senior year at Santa Ynez High School and looked forward to graduating with his friends in the Class of 2010. Oige was involved in many activities including soccer, cross-country running, scuba diving, Boy Scouts, theatre productions, tap dancing, dog raising, and many others. He loved the outdoors, especially the forest and the desert. He was physically fit and loved to ride his bike and go hiking around the Valley. (Continue reading Oige's biography...)
